Fibre Bragg Gratings

The Fibre Bragg Gratings group, led by Dr Morten Ibsen, within the Optoelectronics Research Centre currently have 6 people. 1 Senior Research Fellow and 5 PhD. students.

We currently have activities in design of Bragg gratings, demonstration of passive and active Bragg grating devices, single-frequency fibre lasers (DBR and DFB) and applications of these high-power laser configurations and telecommunication-systems.
